The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (OVCDEI) is now accepting nominations for the Larine Y. Cowan Make a Difference Awards. Each November at the Celebration of Diversity breakfast, a highlight of the event is recognizing outstanding faculty, staff, students and registered student organizations who are selected for the Larine Y. Cowan Make a Difference Awards. Please consider nominating a person or organization that you feel has done an exceptional job in helping to make the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign a more diverse and inclusive campus. There are four distinct categories:
Advocacy for LGBTQ Affairs
Excellence Access and Accommodations
Teaching and Mentoring Diversity
Leadership in Diversity
