There's no game day like Homecoming game day. Here are some tips to get the most out of your experience.
Memorial Stadium
Parking: View the best locations to park.
Clear bag policy: Memorial Stadium has a clear bag policy, so bring your things in a clear drawstring or tote bag. The only non-clear bags permitted are diaper bags with a child and small clutches under 7 inches in length.
Infant tickets: Children ages two and under are allowed to enter the arena at a discounted ticket price. Infant tickets are $5, and they must sit in the lap of an adult.
Alcohol sales: As of fall 2019, Memorial Stadium’s specialty kiosks now sell beer.
Tailgating
Tailgating timeline: Grange Grove opens at 7 a.m. on game days.
Entertainment: Three hours before kickoff, you’ll find a kids zone, live musical entertainment, the pregame radio show, beer tents and food trucks and the Varsity I Autograph Tent.
Post-game
Marching Illini: The Marching Illini play a post-game concert after each game outside the Education Building. Experiencing the band up close is a one-of-a-kind experience.
