The School of Labor and Employment Relations is honored to welcome alumnus Timothy A. Judge, Franklin D. Schurz Professor of Management, Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame, as our featured speaker for the 2015 Milton Derber Lecture. Dr. Judge holds both a master's and doctoral degree from LER.
Leadership is one of the most heavily researched and arguably central areas of organizational scholarship. The literature is broad, multidisciplinary, and confusing. In this talk, Dr. Judge provides an overview of past research, discusses current developments, and provides an agenda for future research.
The Annual Milton Derber Lecture was instituted in 1990 to honor Professor Emeritus Milton Derber and serve as a focal point for the intellectual enrichment for the school, its faculty and its students, as well as for the university community. Nationally known experts in a variety of employment relations subject areas are featured in this event, which is open to the public.
This year's event is Monday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wagner Education Center at LER, 504 East Armory Avenue, Champaign.
