Work will include using seines and nets to sample for crayfish and measuring physical habitat conditions with data loggers and probes, and require wading in streams and rivers, hiking in rough terrain, and camping in remote locations. Preferences for the hire include sophomore standing or higher with coursework in ecology and natural resources, previous work experience in field biology, current first aid and CPR training, a valid driver’s license, and comfort hiking and camping in remote locations.
