Seasonal Whiterock Conservancy Trails Internship
April 1- September 30, 2021
Whiterock Conservancy stewards 40 miles of equestrian, single track, double track, and pump track trails over 5,500 acres in West-Central Iowa near Coon Rapids. The gorgeous Whiterock landscape attracts visitors from all over the state, region, and nation is a mix of savannas, rolling pastures, native and restored prairies, wetlands, riverside bluffs, fishing ponds, crop ground, and unique historic, geologic, and archaeological sites.
Must be physically able to operate various hand tools, equipment, and machines; walk steep hills and several miles in a day; and work in adverse weather conditions.
