Illinois Enactus is a social entrepreneurship organization at UIUC working towards the creation of sustainable enterprises that will address local environmental and social inequalities. We have projects that strive to aid K-12 students in Champaign-Urbana like Project Varsity (focused on providing cheaper materials for educators) and Apex (modified CPR training programs for women). On another note, we also endeavor to explore innovation in environmental topics with algae bioplastic, paper-recycling, and water consumption-focused projects.
