Position description and application information
- Must be able to work with other staff and the general public
- Work is primarily indoors but significant fieldwork also expected
- work with local landowners to apply and maintain conservation practices
- Provide technical support to conservation planners, survey and design
- will compute & plot engineering notes, prepare field sketches and drawings
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse conditions and walk long distances on uneven terrain
- ability to lift 50 pounds or more to move tools and supplies and equipment
- Have a valid driver's license with proof of insurance
- Be able to pass a federal background check, as required by USDA
