- Works in collaboration with landowner to provide detailed conservation system and practice implementation including conservation practice design, layout, construction, inspection and certification.
- Recommends and assists in conducting necessary preliminary surveys and provides recommendations for feasible practices to solve resource concerns. Recommends practices to farmers and ranchers which help control erosion and conserve soil and water.
- Informs and educates the landowner of conservation technical assistance and financial assistance to consider for conservation system and practice implementation. This includes oversight, management and administration for Farm Bill programs.
- Works with the District Conservationist to conduct environmental education on natural resource issues, water quality, and general conservation at workshops, seminars, fairs, and/or assist the Conservation District staff in these activities.
