The SSC Marketing and Outreach Intern will be responsible for supporting and implementing marketing and outreach effort for the Student Sustainability Committee at the University of Illinois, which oversees over $1 million each year in funding for sustainable initiatives on campus. Work will include developing marketing and outreach goals for projects that SSC has funded, promoting SSC initiatives, and representing SSC at events and meetings.
The Marketing and Outreach Intern is responsible for working 8-10 hours a week and will work with advisors from Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Environment and SSC. Position begins in the Fall 2016 semester (or earlier, if mutually agreed upon by intern and supervisor) and ends in either December 2016 or May 2017 pending availability and graduation date of intern. This position is paid at the standard hourly rate for student workers.
