The University of Illinois Extension Forestry is seeking applicants for a full-time position to serve as the coordinator of the Southern Illinois Beginning Forest Landowner Program.

Primary Position Function/Summary: Works with Extension Forestry staff at the Dixon Springs Agricultural Center to develop and conduct the Southern Illinois Beginning Forest Landowner Program. This includes program advertisement/promotion, communicating with participants, arranging instructors, organizing training events, and developing curriculum.
The goal of the Beginning Forest Landowner Program is to utilize a multifaceted approach through multiple methods of learning to develop the knowledge and skill sets of beginning forest landowners in basic forest and natural resource management and management planning to allow them to actively manage their forest land.This is a full-time hourly position with 3-years of funding. The position could be extended if additional funding becomes available.

Education: - Required: Bachelor's degree
