    Requirements

    We seek to hire students with the following characteristics:

    • Current undergraduates at UIUC
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Positive, enthusiastic attitude
    • Self-motivated
    • Good time-management skills
    • Ability to represent UIUC effectively to numerous constituencies
    • Capable of working in a team setting
    • Strong sense of school pride

    Responsibilities

    • Welcome prospective students and families to campus as they check in
    • Direct families around campus
    • Give campus and classroom tours
    • Serve on student panels for up to 900 guests
    • Answer calls and work the front desk at the Office of Admissions and Records
    • Prepare materials for visit programs
    • Serve on student panels for virtual visits
    • Assist with New Student Registration programming (summer only)
    • Assist with video shoots, photo shoots, and social media efforts as needed
    • Assist with other tasks as needed
