  • Natural Resource Specialist position in South Dakota

    The Northwest Area Joint Board of Conservation Districts is seeking a self-motivated person, able to work independently and/or as a member of team in rural northwestern South Dakota. Application deadline is May 15, 2016.

  • Hydrologic Science Technician

    The Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory of the Southern Research Station is recruiting a Hydrologic Science Technician-GS-1316-06. The position will be advertised as a term two-year appointment. The position will be at the GS-6 level (salary range $35,306 to $46,294/yr plus standard Federal benefits). The duty station will be located at the Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory in Otto, NC.  The Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory has been in continuous operation since 1934 and the research program spans the continuum of basic to applied science. Coweeta is a Long-Term Ecological Research Site and works cooperatively with several universities, National Forests, and local, state, and other federal agencies.

  • Reservoir Watershed Forester

    The Department of Natural Resources, Forest Service,  is currently accepting applications for a Watershed Forester that will support forest management planning and landscape-scale planning/forest health assessment around three drinking water reservoirs through a MD/PA partnership, including The Nature Conservancy.

  • Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist/Forester

    Work in a joint capacity with Quail Forever, Inc. (QF), Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and other partners to promote, accelerate enrollment, coordinate and implement the conservation provisions of the Federal Farm Bill with focus on Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Conservation Reserve Program (CRP).
