• All-Employee Expo 2023

  Illinois Human Resources, Staff Advisory Council, and Council of Academic Professionals at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign cordially invite you to participate in the All-Employee Expo! 

  The All-Employee Expo will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in its new location at the State Farm Center. Get ready for an extraordinary experience exclusively designed for employees of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Whether you are seeking valuable resources as a newer employee, needing to reconnect with a vendor on our many great offerings, wanting to learn about exciting initiatives, or looking to connect with fellow colleagues, the All-Employee Expo has something for everyone! 

  Be sure to visit the All-Employee Expo website for more information regarding the event. If you aren’t sure about attending the event due to the new location, there is a “Trip Planner” section utilizing the MTD bus system on the website as well as free and ample parking. Meet your colleagues from across campus at the event and don’t forget the FREE portrait while you are there! Please bring your i-Card for admittance. 

• Now Available: Employee Referral Program

  Illinois Human Resources is excited to announce a new staff Employee Referral Program. Watch the video to learn more about how you can launch your own employee referral incentive adventure. An audio descriptive version of this video is available.

  You can now refer potential applicants to any posted position using the internal job board. When you access the job board you’ll now see a new category, “Eligible for Referral”, accessed via Current Employees button on jobs.illinois.edu. When you click on any job title you will be able to send an email link with the job posting and an application link to your referral to encourage them to apply for the position.

  For some hard-to-fill and high-demand vacant positions that have been approved by university leadership, you will see a “$” next to “Referable.” For these positions, if your referral (for a new to the University candidate) applies for the position using the link you emailed them, and is selected for the position, the hiring unit will pay you $600 for the referral (subject to eligibility criteria).
