Career Development Programs for International Students - Info Session (Online)
Wednesday, April 26, 5:30 pm-6:30 pm CDT. RSVP on Handshake.
This nationally awarded program helps international students become more competitive job/internship candidates. Through a 9-week series of workshops, peer mentoring, immersive experiences, and learning activities you will build a high level of career competence and learn practical information, skills, and strategies. You will receive direct feedback and build a supportive network of peers. Upon completion, you will be awarded a Career Certificate, a valuable credential to market your workplace readiness to potential employers. This program is open to all international students enrolled in in-person academic programs at UIUC. GLOBE connects current and new, domestic and international students and teams them up in small groups to participate in various activities and events throughout the semester. Bengali New Year Celebration - 30th April, Sunday | Lincoln Hall Theater | 5pm

The Bengali Students Organization (BSO) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, in association with East Central Illinois Bengali Association (ECIBA) and Bangladeshi Students Association (BSA), is proud to announce a cultural event to celebrate the Bengali New Year and the rich Bengali culture on April 30, 2023. One of the first of its kind on campus in recent years, this big event has been made possible through the humble support and funding from the Students Organization Center of UIUC. Popular Indian restaurant Bloom Bawarchi (Bloomington) has joined hands as the food partner of the event. This event is an opportunity to bring together students and community members from different backgrounds to learn about the Bengali culture, its customs, and its people.
