International Student Career Series Spring 2022: Resume and Cover letter (In-Person)
Thursday, March 24, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., The Career Center Interview Suite, Room 213, 616 E Green St., Champaign
The Career Center has decided to postpone CC-I program until next semester, but the good news is, you can take advantage of our upcoming workshop series. This professional development series has been adopted and modified from CC-I program contents and is based on the various needs of our international students. This series is based on the different needs of our international students. In this next workshop you will learn about how to write appealing resumes and cover letters and how to avoid mistakes that students make often in their resume or cover letter writing.
- March 24: Resume and Cover letter (In-Person)
- April 7: Job Search Resources (In-Person)
- April 21: Interviewing & Storytelling (In-Person)
Career Drop-In Advising
Monday - Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and Friday from 10:00 a.m.- Noon. The Career Center Resource Center, 715 S. Wright Street, Champaign, IL 61820 (Across from the Alma Mater)
Our Graduate Assistants will help you with any career-related concern by connecting you to relevant resources and accurate information. During these 10 - 15-minute sessions, you will learn about resources for finding internships, strategies for choosing a major, or tips for an upcoming interview. You will also, get feedback on your resume without having to schedule an appointment. Please bring a paper copy.

Attending a virtual career fair is an important step towards obtaining an internship or full-time employment. This workshop teaches you what to expect as well as how to create your elevator pitch, navigate employer sessions, and follow up with employers after the event.
