The Career Center Spring 2023 Event Calendar for International Students

Updated CPT, OPT, AT list Fall 2022 to Learn about International Friendly Companies!
This week the INTL team of Career Center will update the most recent international student friendly company list on International students page of the Career Center (TCC website). It is helpful to know which companies and organizations have hired Illinois international students on the CPT, OPT, AT status. The data is from the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), and The Career Center updates company lists twice a year.
Get Ready for Career Certificate - International Students (CC-I) and International Student Career Navigator - Spring 2023 Info Session (In-Person + Online)
This nationally awarded program helps international students become more competitive job/internship candidates. Through a 9-week series of workshops, peer mentoring, immersive experiences, and learning activities you will build a high level of career competence and learn practical information, skills, and strategies. You will receive direct feedback and build a supportive network of peers. Upon completion, you will be awarded a Career Certificate, a valuable credential to market your workplace readiness to potential employers.

Opportunities in the Research Park for International Students
Date/Time: Wednesday, January 25, 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. CST
Location: The Career Center, 715 S Wright St, Urbana, IL 61820, Conference Room 143
This event is hosted by The Career Center and the Research Park and is designed to inform the international students about the various opportunities that exist at the University of Illinois Research Park. The Assistant Director of Talent, Emily Neal, will share opportunities at the Research Park and answer any questions pertaining to international student employment / research at the Research Park. RSVP here to reserve in-person attendance. Participants on the waitlist can still attend the event remotely via Zoom.
