2022 Summer AUCA Virtual Career Events

AUCA is an open organization for overseas university representatives, based in Mainland China, to exchange information and resources, pursue collaboration, and learn best practices. Previously over 150 university representatives from more than 90 overseas universities have joined AUCA and their events.
- Leading employers in the past including Bloomberg, Tencent, ByteDance, PwC, DBS, Unilever, JD.com, Novartis Group China and Xiaomi will join the events. Students are encouraged to submit the RSVP at their earliest convenience.They will receive the official links and instructions shortly from AUCA representatives. More than 18 universities joined in this 2022 summer events this year as participating universities. Please see the participating employers and student RSVP link in the flyer.
Spring 2022 Updated CPT, OPT, AT List of International Friendly Companies are Available Now!
Check out the updated International Friendly Companies list in international student page of the Career Center (TCC website). It is helpful to know which companies and organizations have hired Illinois international students on the CPT, OPT, or AT status. The data is from the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), and The Career Center updates CPT/OPT/AT company lists twice a year.
Interested in applying for the Career Certificate - International Students (CC-I) program in Fall 2022?
The CC-I program is a unique and innovative nine-week program dedicated to the career and professional development of international students. This program has been offered by The Career Center since Fall 2012 and received the Services to International Students award, a national award presented by the National Career Development Association in 2016. This program helps international students plan their career, develop job search skills, and enhance self-promotion and networking skills. This program is designed to enable participants to have a higher level of career competence confidence as they seek an internship or job. Participants completing all the program requirements receive the Career Certificate - International Students (CC-I). Any undergraduate and master's-level international student may apply for the CC-I program. The program application opens in August 2022 along with multiple info nights!

Conéctate is a free early-move-in program designed for freshmen and transfer students. Throughout the program, students will be connected with Latinx students, faculty, and staff to build their community on campus. Conéctate is a welcome to campus that gives invaluable resources and workshops to thrive during their first year. Conéctate will take place from August 16-18, 2022.

3M Graduate R&D Information Session
Monday, August 8, 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. EDT, Register on Handshake.
3M will hold an informational session for R&D Careers in these areas - Chemistry, Materials Science, and Chemical Engineering. Following the information session, 3M will be conducting interviews for positions in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, mechanical engineering, polymer science, biomolecular engineering, biology, data science, computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, and other closely related fields. Interview will be held virtually later in August
On & Off-Campus Employment and Volunteer Opportunities
Python Developer Internship & Training at Best High Technologies LLC (BHT), IL, CA, NY, NJ.

BHT is in the industry through offering high technology solutions to save on overall time and cost. These positions require qualifications, candidate who has a B.S. degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields and has familiarity with computer operating systems, and the basics of Python.
