Learn How to Use Handshake @ Illinois
Do you know how to make the best usage of Handshake? Handshake @ Illinois is our new campus-wide recruiting platform. Tens of thousands of jobs and internships are posted annually. Most of upcoming career fairs, info sessions, and career events are posted, too. Many career service offices offer workshop showing you how to use Handshake. You may go to one of the workshops to learn more information.

Apply To CC-I : One More CC-I Info Session!
Do you want to be a more competent internship/full-time job candidate? Are you interested in developing your networking and self-promotion skills? Apply to the Career Certificate – International Students (CC-I) program! CC-I is one of the signature programs of The Career Center for international students and has received a national award in 2016.
In order to apply to CC-I, you need to attend one of the two remaining info sessions that will happen on September 11th from 4-5pm at the Career Center Interview Suite, Room 213. The venue is located on the 2nd floor of the KAPLAN building by McDonald’s on Green Street. Note that all undergraduate and Master’s international students who are available either Mondays or Tuesdays from 4-6p.m. from September 18th through November 14th can apply. Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) & International Education Open House

Caterpillar Inc. (Korean) Info Session
Thursday, September 7th, 4:00-6:00 PM, Loomis Lab – Room 144
This info session is open to Korean and Korean-American students. Caterpillar Korean Resource Group and Caterpillar recruiters will visit the campus together. Caterpillar is the global company focusing on manufacturing of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
Eli Lilly China Info Session

Eli Lilly China will hold an info session for their recruiting program. The positions are available only for those who are work-authorized for China. Target majors are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Bio-Chemical Engineering Sciences, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Science. Organizing Change Student Leadership Retreat
Saturday to Sunday, October 7 to 8th, Lake Williamson Retreat Center near Springfield, IL
This free, interactive retreat is open to all undergraduate and graduate students. You will learn practical concepts and skills about social change, identify what issues are important to you, network with fellow students, and consider how social change relates to your academics and future careers.
