International Students Career Series Fall -2021: In-Person Interviewing and Storytelling (only one event left!)
Monday, November 15, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., The Career Center Interview Suite (616 E. Green St, Room 213, Champaign)
The Career Center is offering an International Careers Series to assist international students in their job search! Our next workshop will be held at The Career Center Interview Suite (616 E. Green St, Room 213, in Champaign) on November 15th from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Learn about job search resources that help international students find internships and full-time opportunities. Our guest speaker at the workshop will be, Samantha Potempa, the Senior Assistant Director of Employer Engagement at the Career Center, who will present interview tips along with her rich insights. Please note that, for this in-person event, in case of a high number of RSVPs we will limit the student participation to 70 (maximum). Hence, join early to reserve your spot!
Career Drop-In Advising
Monday - Thursday from Noon – 2:00 p.m. and on Fridays from Noon – 1:00 p.m. stop by The Career Center!
Our Graduate Assistants will help you with any career-related concern by connecting you to relevant resources and accurate information. During these 10 - 15-minute sessions, you will learn about resources for finding an internship, strategies for choosing a major, or tips for an upcoming interview. Also, get feedback on your resume without having to schedule an appointment. Please bring a paper copy.
