INTL Weekly Internships/ Jobs (the week of September 25th )
Hardware Engineer Co-op/Intern at Cisco Meraki (San Francisco, CA)
Cisco Meraki is a cloud managed IT company. Meraki’s intern program is designed to give interns the ability to explore the different avenues of the engineering teams. Corporate Finance Job Shadow at Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, IL)
Caterpillar is a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment company helping their customers develop infrastructure, energy, and natural resource assets. The job shadow day is on January 12th, 2018 from 8:30-4:00pm. You have to be either a freshman or sophomore enrolled within the College of Business and must graduate anytime from December 2019-August 2021. Job Shadow at Walgreens (Deerfield, IL)
Walgreens is the neighborhood drugstore and retailer. The job shadow will be on January 5, 2018 at their Corporate Headquarters. Finance, Accounting, and Economics majors preferred, however, all business majors are welcome to apply. In addition, you must graduate between December 2019 and June 2021. 2017 International Career Festival (ICF)
Saturday, October 14th, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Lincoln Hall
The International Career Festival had closed its application period. Did you want to apply but did not make it? Are you curious about how other people compose their resume, LinkedIn, and deliver their elevator pitch? You are still welcome to observe the final round of competition of ICF on October 14th. Attendees on that day also have the right to vote for the best resume. There are also recruiter panel and two career workshops on self-branding and start-up careers. (This event is organized by the UIUC International Student Career Connections Committee in partnership with the Global Career Network). Please RSVP on Handshake. Application Deadline: Sunday, October 15th
Are you an undergraduate student with at least a 2.75 GPA and will not graduate earlier than December 2018? Also, you will have earned at least 60 credit hours by the beginning of the Spring 2018 semester. You may have a chance to qualify for the scholarship. For more information, please click here.
