Womxn's Career Institute
Sunday, March 23, Noon – 4:00 p.m., Siebel Center For Design, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
The Womxn's Career Institute is a day-long intensive series of workshops and panels designed to prepare womxn for the workforce. The 2022 Womxn’s Career Institute is hosted by the Women’s Resources Center and the Career Center. The Womxn’s Career Institute is a free, day-long career and leadership development event focused on addressing concerns that womxn commonly face as students first entering the workforce, with particular attention paid to the needs of womxn of color and across the gender spectrum. International Student Career Series Spring 2022: Job Search Resources (In-Person)

The Career Center has decided to postpone CC-I program until next semester, but the good news is, you can take advantage of our upcoming workshop series. This professional development series has been adopted and modified from CC-I program contents and is based on the various needs of our international students. This series is based on the different needs of our international students. In this next workshop you will learn about job search resources that help international students find internship and full-time opportunities in the U.S.

Career Fair Preparation (In-Person)

Attending a virtual career fair is an important step towards obtaining an internship or full-time employment. This workshop teaches you what to expect as well as how to create your elevator pitch, navigate employer sessions, and follow up with employers after the event.
