The Career Certificate - International Students (CC-I) Program Fall 2019 – Application is Open! Gain a higher level of career competency and practical skills to successfully pursue job and internship opportunities.
The CC-I program is a unique and innovative program dedicated to career/professional development for international students. This program has been offered by The Career Center since Fall 2012. Once you complete all of the requirements in the program you will receive the Career Certificate - International Students (CC-I). You will learn practical information, as well as skills and strategies for your search.
In 2016, CC-I received the Services to International Students Award, a national award presented by the National Career Development Association. To know more about this program, eligibility and application process click here. Application will be closed on Saturday, September 14 at 11:59 PM.

Fall 2019 Suit-Up Event
Sunday, September 8, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM, 2000 North Neil Street, Champaign, IL
Join us at JC Penney where you will receive up to 60% off all suits and professional attire and accessories. You will also be able to be measured for a suit and get tips and advice on putting together business professional attire. Transportation will be provided. Three white 15-passenger bus will drive in continuous loops from the circle drive of the Illini Union to JC Penney and back throughout the evening. The first bus will leave at 5:45 PM. Career Fair Prep Workshop

Attending a career fair is an important step towards obtaining an internship or full-time employment, and Illinois offers several career fairs. We know your time is limited, but you do not need a lot of time to get the most out of a career fair. This workshop teaches you what to expect as well as how to create your elevator pitch, navigate employer booths, and follow up with employers after the event.

Illinois Abroad Day 2019
All students are invited to attend Illinois Abroad Day, a campus-wide study abroad event that will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM.
Five concurrent fairs will be hosted by various campus units at locations across campus (see below). At Illinois Abroad Day, students can explore programs, talk to returnees, and learn more about the study abroad process.

FACES Consulting Fall 2019 Recruitment and Case Workshop
FACES consulting prepare all international students for career both in the US and abroad. In addition, they hope to continue increasing the diversity of organization and invite talents from different countries and backgrounds to join organization.
