International Students Career Series Fall -2021: Thank You for Making the Series a Success!
Transitioning from online to in-person, we have offered our International Career Series to assist international students in their job search. The series consisted of five workshops based on the needs of international students for their professional development. We would like to thank, our guest speakers of the series, Alexis Yi, James Castree, and Samantha Potempa at the Career Center for taking the time out to share their rich experiences and knowledge with our students. Above all, we are delighted by your enthusiastic participation and thus consider continuing this series for the Spring-2022 semester. Stay tuned to the newsletter for details!

Illinois Part-Time Job Fair Spring 2022: In-Person by The Career Center
Thursday, January 27, 2022, Noon - 3:00 p.m., Illini Union, Rooms ABC
The Illinois Part-Time Job Fair is open to students on campus seeking opportunities to make some extra money and build their career competencies while completing their academics. Opportunities at this fair should be paid part-time positions on campus or in the Champaign/Urbana community. To learn more, click here.
Career Drop-In Advising
Monday - Thursday from Noon – 2:00 p.m. and on Fridays from Noon – 1:00 p.m. stop by The Career Center!
Our Graduate Assistants will help you with any career-related concern by connecting you to relevant resources and accurate information. During these 10 - 15-minute sessions, you will learn about resources for finding an internship, strategies for choosing a major, or tips for an upcoming interview. Also, get feedback on your resume without having to schedule an appointment. Please bring a paper copy.

Career Qualified is a new podcast designed to help students navigate professional development through conversations and interviews with recruiters, alumni, and those in the field that can give insight based on their experience.
