The 2020 Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign is Now Underway!
The Office of Advancement is asking all faculty and staff to consider making a gift to the College of Education fund of your choice.
Office Manager for the Dean's Office, Danielle Ward has been with the College for a little over two years and chooses to give to the College Scholarship Fund via payroll, a pre-tax deduction.
"It takes someone with a big heart to strive to be a teacher, and those big hearts greatly affect my children every day. Our kids’ teachers are with them more than their dad and I are, and if those teachers weren’t able to receive the education they did, and have the support they had while in school, they wouldn’t be there to help our children succeed every day. I hope that Education student(s) will benefit from my donations, sort of in an act of paying it forward."
Danielle says that giving back to the College is important because all of the small gifts add up to make a big impact.
"While my donation amount is small, the fact that I signed up to donate to the Scholarship fund means a lot to me. With four children, three needing additional help and support in school, education is very important to me. Through supporting the College of Education Scholarship Fund, my contributions make me feel like I am playing a very small part in assisting with another child's learning needs."
Every gift impacts a student who walks through our doors. Together, we can accomplish educating future leaders in the College of Education. Make 2020 the year to start a payroll deduction that invests in the future of education.
