Kurt Sexton joined PRI's Finance team in September 2019 as an account technician following an eight-year career as a sales coordinator at Vesuvius.
Where are you from?
I was born in DeKalb, Illinois and went to high school in Urbana, and I currently live in Homer, Illinois.
What are you looking forward to most in your role at PRI?
Learning new skills and getting to know all the people.
What drew you to this work?
I like working with a variety of people and I like helping others. Plus, I have wanted to be part of the University of Illinois for a long time.
What do you like to do outside of PRI?
I have two kids who are very active in sports (Madalyn, 13, Basketball and Softball and Lane, 10, wrestling, football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. I coach multiple sports and I am a board member of two groups in Homer that organize youth sports. My wife and I also enjoy attending concerts and being outdoors when we're not at an event for the kids.
