On June 17, 2010, more than 1,000 people from Champaign-Urbana and the surrounding community turned out to get a look at the University of Illinois' newest building, the National Petascale Computing Facility. The facility is a state-of-the-art data center that will house NCSA's Blue Waters supercomputer, as well as several other supercomputers.
