UIUC will lead a new center to improve the resiliency of critical infrastructure, which includes dams, information technology, emergency services, transportation systems and critical manufacturing. The Critical Infrastructure Resilience Center of Excellence (CIRCoE) is funded through a grant – anticipated at $20 million over five years – from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
