Illinois cybersecurity start-up Network Perception has placed its inaugural software product, NP-View, in dozens of electric utilities around the world. Now, it's preparing to launch a new software solution, called NP-Live, in the marketplace next year. Unlike NP-View, which is geared toward utilities and gives a snapshot of a network at any given time, NP-Live provides continuous monitoring of a company's network and can be used in many sectors beyond energy.
