Intel has recently announced that it acquired NetSpeed Systems, a startup founded by ECE ILLINOIS alumna Sundari Mitra (MSEE '88) NetSpeed Systems provides scalable, coherent Network-on-Chip (NoC) IPs to System-on-Chip (SoC) designers from mobile to enterprise SoCs
