The project coordinators invite all Graduate and Undergraduate College students to the Student Session: Whose Lakefront. This event will center the perspectives and voices of Native and Indigenous communities. In this workshop, students will have the opportunity to hear from leading professionals about their activism work in Chicago and the greater Indigenous community. Each student will gain a greater understanding of the Whose Lakefront project, learn about historical and contemporary issues from Indigenous leaders, and form new connections with fellow student peers interested in advancing Indigenous initiatives.
