    Trent Chesnut is part of a team of engineers, physicians, researchers, and designers from the University of Illinois and Carle Health who has developed and launched production of a face shield for health professionals responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    When students and employees return to the campus this fall, safety measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 are critical. Thanks to Integrated Bioprocessing Research Lab, hand sanitizer and disinfectant will be in ample supply.
