Reimagine Our Future invites undergraduates to use their critical and creative thinking skills to develop ideas supporting United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. With expert guidance, students tackle a global issue they are passionate about and present their ideas in a 1- to 3-page factsheet to an international panel of judges. With fewer than 300 participants each year, this is a unique chance to win one of twelve prizes totaling $8,500. “The overall winners of the 2023 competition—Margot O’Malley, Tom George, and Jasper Nord—celebrating their victory at the award ceremony. Their entry, “Grounds for Nutrition,” proposed using spent coffee grounds to cultivate mushrooms. The team is now collaborating with two restaurants in Chicago to further develop their ideas.”
