The College's Offices of Online Programs and Advancement are pleased to announce two new scholarships specifically designed for online students in Ed.M. and Ed.D. programs. The first round of scholarships will be awarded during the 2023-34 academic year.
- Online Ed.D. Dissertation Completion Scholarship
Seven (7) Awardees at $1,000 Each
The purpose of this scholarship is to support and incentivize online Ed.D. students in the completion of their dissertations. Funds go into student account to defer tuition or other costs of dissertation completion. Scholarship candidates are online doctoral students who have completed coursework and passed qualifying exams; higher consideration given to those who have passed their preliminary exam. Candidates must apply for this award.
- Online Ed.M. Recruitment Scholarship
Six (6) Awardees at $500 Each
This scholarship is intended to show the College of Education at Illinois' commitment to its online students and thus encourage prospective students to apply. Funds can defer tuition or other costs associated with the online Ed.M. program. Candidates must apply for this award.
