Spencer Long, Ed.D. ’21 EPOL, is already applying what he learned during his Learning Design and Leadership doctoral program to his professional role as the Senior Director of Member Education and Development for Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at the national level. He provides oversight and leadership to areas that focus on member growth and retention, education and curriculum development, chapter development, and redevelopment and conduct.
"Eye-opening. Thought-provoking. Forward-thinking. These are just a few terms that come to mind when I reflect upon my online Ed.D. in Learning Design and Leadership journey. The LDL program presents a curriculum that challenges the status quo approach to teaching and learning and provides a path for more inclusive learning where all students can participate and learn from each other. I am already developing ways to expand new learning in other aspects of our organization. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive community or faculty members."
