    Lake-effect in the Great Lakes has evolved dramatically in the last 15,000 years. This research, led by Carol Griggs in the Cornell University Tree-Ring Laboratory and co-authored by C.F. Michael Lewis of the Geological Survey of Canada, explores the evolution of regional climate in the Great Lakes area from 14.2 to 11.5 thousand years ago.
