VITA at Gies -- Take Charge of Your Taxes
Get up-to-date news on the VITA income tax program through Gies Business, including tips for your taxes and the schedule for the Gies VITA site at Salt & Light Urbana.     Our file box of tax returns is just about full! Please return to Salt & Light to review and sign your tax return. Then we can file it for you!

    April 5th Last Day to Bring in Tax Documents

    We will accept new tax returns to be filed until Saturday, April 5th. After that we will focus on finishing and returning tax returns to taxpayers. Plan to return to Salt & Light in Urbana by April 12th to finalize your tax return.

    Our hours are:

    • Tuesdays, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Fridays, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
