  • 2013 NASA ASP Scholarship Application

     

     

    The 2013 NASA Aeronautics Scholarship Application is now open. The NASA Aeronautics Scholarship Program seeks to attract students interested in the field of aeronautics to work with NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) which is directed toward enhancing the state of aeronautics for the nation, transforming the nation's air transportation system, and developing the knowledge, tools, and technologies to support future air and space vehicles. The ARMD focus is on cutting-edge, fundamental research in traditional aeronautical disciplines, as well as emerging fields with promising application to aeronautics.

     

    Undergraduate Students

    $15,000 awarded for each school year, to be used for educational related expenses

    $10,000 Summer internship at a NASA Research Center

    Up to 2 years of support

  • IEEE Power & Energy Society SCHOLARSHIP PLUS INITIATIVE

    A Career-Changing Opportunity for Undergraduate Students

     The IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative is now accepting applications for the 2026 cycle. This program rewards high-performing undergraduate students interested in power and energy with financial support and real-world career connections. 

    We were able to award 244 students with the scholarship in 2025, and our goal is to sustain this growth. We need your help promoting this opportunity. 

    What Selected Students Receive:

    •  Up to US$10,000 toward education expenses.

    •  Networking opportunities with industry professionals.

    •  Direct connections to P&E companies and internships

     Eligibility:

    •  Full-time undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

    •  Pursuing a degree in an IEEE designated field (including Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physical Sciences, and more).

     •  Attending an ABET/CEAB-accredited university or college in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or Canada.

    •  Completion (or planned completion) of at least 3 courses related to power and energy.

    •  U.S. citizen, Canadian citizen, or U.S. permanent resident.
