    The Illinois Natural History Survey is seeking a Creel Technician to conduct basic and applied research in the area of aquatic ecology. This position will be located at the Lake Michigan Biological Station in Zion, Illinois. 

  • Aquatic Ecology Technician (Hourly) - Illinois Natural History Survey

    The Illinois Natural History Survey is seeking a field technician to conduct basic and applied research in the area of aquatic ecology. Technician will conduct field work from small/large boats, conduct lab work, and assist with lab behavioral experiments and research projects evaluation the recruitment, behavior, reproductive strategies, and management of a variety of fish.   

  • Archaeological Field Technicians-American Bottom Field Station

    The Illinois State Archaeological Survey (seeks Archaeological Field Technicians to fill hourly field crew positions for large-scale Phase I, II, and III projects conducted out of our American Bottom Field Station in Collinsville, Illinois. These are full-time (40 hour/week), non-benefits-eligible, field/laboratory positions that may also involve some additional fieldwork, data processing, and specialized-analysis opportunities. Technicians will need to relocate to the St. Louis Metro east area. 

  • Archaeological Field Technicians-Western Illinois Field Station

    The Illinois State Archaeological Survey seeks Archaeological Field Technicians to fill hourly field crew positions for large-scale Phase I, II, and III projects conducted out of our Western Illinois Field Stations in Jacksonville and Macomb. These are 40-hour/week), non-benefits-eligible, field/laboratory positions that may also involve some additional fieldwork, data processing, and specialized-analysis opportunities. Technicians will need to relocate to the Macomb/Jacksonville areas.
