Delta Dental recently posted a notice to dentists indicating that Delta Dental is working with the State of Illinois to provide interim relief in paying some of the oldest outstanding dental claims.
The State and CMS are releasing payments of one week of claims every other week, which began on September 19, 2016, and will end mid-January 2017. Each release covers one week of claims, and by mid-January will cover the oldest nine weeks of outstanding claims. Both in-network and out-of-network dentist claims will be paid based on the age of the claim.
