Global Relations at Illinois is hosting an event to learn about the University of Illinois' new partnership with Universitas 21, a global network of 30 world-leading, research-intensive universities across six continents.
The session will be held at the OVCDEI Building, 614 E. Daniel, room 3070, on May 2 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
International education experts Catherine Lemon (University of Birmingham) and Jenny Dixon (University of Auckland) will provide an overview of U21’s history, mission, and the opportunities it offers for Illinois faculty, staff, and students. The info session will also outline Illinois’ role within the U21 network and how this new affiliation can enhance global engagement across campus.
Attendees will also learn about the advantages of U21 membership for Illinois faculty, staff, and students, funding and exchange opportunities for faculty and staff, student-focused programs, and how to get involved, and ways to collaborate with U21 institutions worldwide.
