Prairie View A&M University's Whitlowe R. Green College of Education has named Dr. RoSusan D. Bartee, Ph.D. '93 EPOL, as its new Dean.
Bartee Joins PVAMU from The University of Central Florida where she was chair and professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Higher Education.
She also holds degrees from Northwestern University and Tougaloo College. She has published widely on educational leadership, systems change, and institutional development, and has chaired or advised dozens of doctoral dissertations at top-tier institutions.
Bartee has also held national roles with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Frederick Patterson Research Institute of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).
