Viktoria Loidl, a Ph.D. candidate in Education Policy, Organization & Leadership, has been selected to receive the 2026 Graduate Student Leadership Award from the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education.
Loidl was selected based on her versatile leadership work serving undergraduate and graduate students on- and off-campus at Illinois.
The Commission for Graduate Students of Adult Education (CGS) confers a Graduate Student Leadership Award that recognizes a graduate student who has engaged in outstanding leadership in the areas of research, teaching/practice, and/or service in adult and continuing education or related fields. The Graduate Student Leadership Award is intended to recognize exceptional achievement in adult learning graduate studies.
She will receive her award at the AAACE conference in September.
