Congratulations to Sanchari Banerjee, doctoral candidate in Educational Psychology, and Ana Garner, doctoral candidate in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership, who have both been chosen as recipients of the Provost's 2023 Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching award.
Both Sanchari and Ana's nominations clearly addressed their sustained excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching and contributions to undergraduate learning beyond classroom instruction. Each year, only five graduate teaching assistants from across campus are selected for this principal award in undergraduate teaching. Additionally, up to five faculty members and five instructional staff members are chosen. The award consists of an honorarium and a personalized commemorative plaque from the Office of the Provost.
Sanchari and Ana will be recognized at the Celebration of Teaching Excellence annual event hosted by the Office of the Provost to honor recipients of Campus Awards for Excellence in Instruction in April.
