Charlene S. Wexler, '64 ED, was one of the 2025 inductees to the Senior Illinoisians Hall of Fame by the Illinois Department on Aging. She was inducted into the Arts, Sports, and Entertainment Division.
Wexler is the author of the books "Farewell to South Shore", "Elephants in the Room", "Lori, Milk and Oranges", "Murder Across the Ocean", and "Murder on Skid Row."
Her work has also appeared in publications such as North Shore Magazine, and she has earned several honors, including a Global Book Award, a Four Seasons Book Award, and an Apex Award.
