Melissa Goodnight, assistant professor of Educational Psychology, has co-edited a book that will be released in September.
The book is titled Cases Integrating Ethnography and Evaluation. It examines the connections between ethnography and evaluation in educational spaces, wrestling with pressing justice and equity issues in today's societies worldwide.
Goodnight edited the book with former Education at Illinois faculty member Rodney Hopson of American University.
The book is the second in a series combining ethnography and evaluation to transform educational programs. The first book, Theories Bridging Ethnography and Evaluation, was published in November 2024.
