Dawn Thomas, PI and Director of the Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map (IECAM), will participate in a panel with the Big Ten Early Learning Alliance.
The panel will feature Early Childhood Experts from 14 Big Ten Universities discussing a research brief on the state of early childhood education in the 11 conference states.
This is the first-ever panel on The State of ECE Data in Big Ten States. The panel will discuss the types of early childhood data already available in Big Ten states, barriers to using state-specific early childhood data, the benefits of having state-specific early childhood data accessible to researchers, policymakers, and the public, and an example of success via the state of Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning.
The panel will take place on Zoom on October 23 at 11 a.m. Registration is required to attend.
