Please join us in congratulating professor emerita Susan Fowler, who is being awarded the 2021 Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education Honorary Fellowship.
The Honorary Fellowship award is the highest honor to publicly recognize distinguished individuals for their remarkable contributions to the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (Hong Kong) institution and community.
According to Dr. Betty Chan Po-king, Yew Chung College of ECE Board of Governors chairperson, this 2021 Honorary Fellowship is awarded to professor Fowler in recognition of her work and contributions to the field of early childhood education for many decades as a distinguished scholar around the world. Her contributions include, but are not limited to, the design and development of courses for Yew Chung College's Higher Diploma in ECE program in the area of children with diverse needs (launched in 2014) as well as the design, development, and accreditation for the flagship Bachelor of Education in ECE degree program (launched in 2018).
The conferment of Dr. Fowler's Honorary Fellowship will take place on November 13, 2021 in Hong Kong.
