A one-semester, 2-credit hours seminar that meets you where you are, whether you are stepping into research for the first time or sharpening your skills for graduate study. The course will build the skills that get you into research and help you thrive!

• Read and make sense of scientific papers
• Build a portfolio and a plan to apply to summer research programs (REUs) and graduate school
• Network with faculty and navigate lab dynamics
• Be an effective mentee and thrive in a research group
