The USDOT Women & Girls In Transportation Initiative (WITI) internship program is open to young women currently enrolled in colleges and universities across the country.
The USDOT WITI program is currently recruiting for a Civil Engineering summer intern position in Chicago, IL.
Internship Summary:
Engineering design firm in Chicago, IL is looking for a Project Coordinator intern to assist the Project Manager in a fast-paced office environment. Work includes help with developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Qualifications and Skills:
- Current college student pursuing a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to maintain schedules for fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work effectively with a Team
- Creative & efficient time management skills
- Able to manage multiple projects with deadlines
- Excellent Computer Skills - Word, Excel, and Outlook
WITI Program Requirements:
- Full-time female college student at an accredited college/university
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- US Citizen
- Copy of most recent college transcript
