    Scholarship and Internship

     

    AISES is pleased to offer a scholarship program in partnership with VGT an Aristocrat Company for the 2020-2021 academic year. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible, and students in a field related to casino gaming (software development, technology, supply chain, etc.) are welcome and encouraged to apply. Additionally, AISES is proud to partner with VGT for an internship with the VGT Software Engineering department. Interns will gain insight into debugging and maintaining an existing code base, and assisting more senior developers with design and coding tasks as they relate to projects.

     

    VGT an Aristocrat Company Scholarship

    Scholarship Amount

    • $2,500 for the academic year for undergraduate students
    • $5,000 for academic year for graduate students

    Eligible Degrees

    Students must be pursuing a degree in the following areas:

    • Computer Science
    • Computer Engineering
    • Software Development
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Finance
    • Human Resources
    • Supply Chain, and related fields.

    VGT an Aristocrat Company Internship
    Software Engineer Intern

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist developers with the design and implementation of various software components
    • Implements and tests codes according to specification from design documents
    • Analyzes existing code to learn how it functions and to debug various issues that may arise

    Interns Are Provided with The Following

    • Round-trip airfare or mileage to internship site up to $500
    • Weekly stipend - $500
    • Lodging will be provided
    • Weekly Local transportation allowance - $50
    • Internship will take place at corporate headquarters in Franklin, TN
